Play-by-play recap: #25 Nebraska 10 Iowa 0 (F/8)
The Iowa Baseball team traveled west hoping to spoil their border rivals hopes of hosting in the NCAA Tournament. They’ll have to win the series from behind, as 25th-ranked Nebraska defeated the Hawkeyes 10-0 in eight innings to open the series on Friday night.
With the loss, the Hawkeyes fall to 29-19 on the season and 12-13 in Big Ten play. They’ll look to even the series on Saturday with Maddux Frese on the mound, while it will by Ty Horn for the Huskers.
