USF adds veteran coach Tim Beck as OC

New USF coach Brian Hartline‘s Ohio State connections paid off with the addition of former Coastal Carolina head coach Tim Beck as his new offensive coordinator. Beck brings 37 years of coaching experience to Tampa, including stints as offensive coordinator at Nebraska, Ohio State, Texas, and North Carolina State. He was most recently the head coach of the Chanticleers from 2023 through the 2025 season.

Beck was fired from Coastal despite leading the team to three straight bowl games.

USF fans saw his Wolfpack offense in action during the 2021 season when they put up 45 points in a 45-0 win in Raleigh.
