Oregon Football's 2026 Regular Season Schedule
Well Duck fans, there are only 221 days until Oregon football kicks off its next season. It will be here and gone before you know it.
Since joining the Big Ten Oregon has had some difficult scheduling hurdles to overcome. It’s not just distance. It’s bye weeks. Away games. Tough stretches. Everyone has faced challenges of some kind.
This year it appears Oregon will once again go 8 straight weeks without a bye to end the season. Maybe that’s good, maybe it’s not. Either way it’s up to Dan Lanning to navigate those challenges.
2026 Football Schedule
9.5 – Boise State
9.12 – @Oklahoma State
9.19 – Portland State
9.26 – @USC
10.3 – BYE
10.10 – UCLA
10.17 – Nebraska
10.24 – @Illinois
10.31 – Northwestern
11.7 – @Ohio State
11.14 – Michigan
11.21 – @Michigan State
11.28 – Washington
Quick Analysis:
Well it starts a lot easier than it finishes right? If Oregon can get past USC in Los Angeles, they will head into the bye week sitting pretty at 4-0. And while you never want to take a team for granted, you have to feel good about getting to 8-0 before the going gets tough.
There’s no question all eyes will be on Columbus on November 7. Oregon and Ohio State set for the tie-breaker, if you will, following the two recent games between the two teams. One might expect both teams will be undefeated or at least 1-loss teams.

We don’t know what Michigan will be this year but they will be good and they will be tough. Kyle Whittingham will bring a new-look Wolverines team to Eugene, somewhere he is very familiar.
After that you have to hope you can win out if you lose to Ohio State. If not, you are rolling the dice on your playoff chances. Oregon should get past Michigan State on the road and thankfully they have Washington at home. Which will be a tough game between the two rivals.
It’s not an easy schedule but it’s not the hardest schedule. But we do know getting through those late conference games is not going to be easy. The season is long, it is grueling and you will be battling injuries and players that aren’t 100-percent. These are the games where depth is tested.
It doesn’t appear Oregon has any Friday games this season.
