NC State Transfer Jerry Deng Commits to Memphis

NC State transfer forward Jerry Deng committed to Memphis on Thursday.

Deng averaged 6.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game with the Wolfpack last season and played in just eight games. He has also spent time at Florida State and Hampton.

Deng measures in at 6-feet-9 inches, and shot 37 percent from beyond the arc in 2024-25 with Florida State.

He averaged 10.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in his freshman season at Hampton.

Deng is Memphis’ third commitment so far in the 2026 portal cycle.
