by: Zachary Weiss01/29/26

It was a second half to forget for the Duquesne Men’s Basketball Team as it fell 87-79 against St. Bonaventure Wednesday night at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.

The Bonnies shot 66.7% from the field in the second half and made seven three-point shots with Darryl Simmons II recording a season high 31 points.

Duquesne’s bright spot came with Tarence Guinyard matching a program record with his 12 assists.

Dukes coach Dru Joyce III was the lone voice after this game and his team has yet to win a home Atlantic 10 contest.

It is worth noting that Jake DiMichele did not play nor was he on the bench for this contest due to an illness.
