Has only been playing quarterback for about two years but has already made strong progress with his mechanics, consistency, and overall understanding of the position. Known for being coachable, learning quickly, and putting in the work to improve every day. Smith is comfortable making throws at all levels while also being able to extend plays when needed. Shows the ability to make plays both in and out of the pocket, with continued growth in arm strength and decision-making. Comes from an athletic family—father is 6’2”, mother (5’8”) was a two-time All-American volleyball player, and brother is 6’4”—and is still continuing to grow and develop physically.
