Bio
George Washington Preparatory High School, established in 1926, is a public high school located in Los Angeles, California. Known as "The Prep," it serves students in grades 9–12 within the Los Angeles Unified School District. The school's mascot, the General, pays homage to its namesake, George Washington. With school colors of cardinal red and continental blue, GWHS offers a comprehensive educational program, including various Small Learning Communities (SLCs) and Magnet programs, to prepare students for college, career, and community involvement.
