Cincinnati SG Dan Skillings Jr. plans to enter NCAA transfer portal
Cincinnati shooting guard Dan Skillings Jr. plans to enter the NCAA transfer, On3 has learned. He spent three years with the Bearcats.
In 29 games last year, Skillings put up 9.2 points per game, 3.8 rebounds per game and 1.5 assists per game. He shot 44% from the floor and 29.9% from three-point range.
The 2023-24 season was the best for Skillings, in terms of stats. He averaged a career high 12.9 points per game across 36 games.
As a member of the Class of 2022, Skillings was a four-star recruit out of Philadelphia (Pa.) Roman Catholic, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 2 overall prospect in the state, the No. 13 shooting guard in the class and the No. 82 overall prospect in the class.

Dan Skillings Jr. plans to enter transfer portal
With Dan Skillings Jr. off to the transfer portal, there’s another roster spot open for the Bearcats. The good news is, Cincinnati landed West Virginia transfer Sencire Harris.
Harris spent his freshman year at Illinois before transferring to West Virginia. This past season, he averaged 5.9 points per game, 4.3 rebounds per game, 1.6 assists per game and shot 39.7% from the floor.
As a member of the Class of 2022, Harris was a four-star recruit out of Akron (Ohio) St. Vincent-St. Mary, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 2 overall prospect in the state, the No. 15 combo guard in the class and the No. 96 overall prospect in the class.
