Bowl season isn’t meaningless for Texas’ young players. For freshmen and sophomores who spent much of the year on scout team, bowl prep and the bowl game serve as spring football before spring football, offering a real opportunity to earn trust, showcase growth, and position themselves for meaningful roles heading into next season.
