Tennessee tight end Miles Kitselman is the latest senior Vol to be selected to play in an all-star game.

Kitselman will play in the American Bowl in Orlando. Kistelman will join Tyre West in Orlando for the American. They are two of the 5 players currently slated for all star games. Jalen McMurray (Senior Bowl), Bryson Eason (Senior Bowl), Dominic Bailey (Hula Bowl) are the other four.

Kitselman is coming off a sprained knee he suffered in the New Mexico State game. The tight end didn’t play at Florida or against Vanderbilt in the regular season finale. He has practiced some during bowl preparations and could play in Nashville against Illinois in the Music City Bowl.

Kitselman had 25 catches for 250 yards and 2 touchdowns in the regular season. He had at least one catch in the first nine games of the season. Kitselman’s most productive day in the passing game was against Arkansas where he had five catches for 56 yards and a touchdown.

Kitselman was a real surprise in 2024 where he transferred in from Alabama and won the starting job. In 2024, he had 22 catches for 301 yards and 4 touchdowns. He thought his career was over at Tennessee but he received a waiver thanks to the Diego Pavia ruling that gave him a second season in orange.

The Kansas native was a vocal leader for the Vols this past year really taking on a verbal leadership role when Nico Iamaleava left in the spring.

The American Bowl is on January 22nd in Orlando and is broadcast on the NFL Network.
