South Carolina women's basketball: Top 2027 recruit puts South Carolina in her top ten
In the midst of the November signing period, most of the recruiting focus has been on the 2026 class. But South Carolina is also making progress with one of the top prospects in the 2027 class.
6-5 post Caroline Bradley announced her top ten on November 13 and included South Carolina on her list. Bradley’s other finalists are Alabama, Kentucky, Notre Dame, LSU, Texas A&M, Duke, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, and UCLA.
Bradley is a native of Oak Grove, Louisiana, a small town in the northeast corner of the state. She is the top-ranked center in the class. Bradley is ranked sixth in the Rivals Industry Comparison, with a high of third overall by ESPN, fifth overall by 247, and ninth overall by Rivals.
Bradley recently visited Kentucky for Big Blue Madness and has taken several unofficial visits to LSU.
The Tigers will be the favorites to land the in-state recruit, but in August, Bradley told On3’s Talia Goodman that South Carolina’s history of producing elite post players is appealing.

“Coach [Dawn] Staley is great,” Bradley said. “Once again, she believes in a play style of playing through the post and things like that, which is really important to me. So that’s been super great, too.”
As a sophomore, Bradley was named the Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year. She averaged 21.8 points, 15.1 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, and 2.3 assists.
In the summer of 2025, Bradley helped the Team USA win gold at the FIBA U16 AmeriCup in Mexico. She came off the bench but averaged 7.5 points and a team-high 8.3 rebounds.
Bradley plans to continue taking unofficial visits this fall. She hasn’t announced when or if she will visit South Carolina.
