Now, Edmond will reunite with his former Gamecocks position coach and add more depth to a South Carolina defensive front that has been in need of more pass-rush juice.
South Carolina landed a pair of defensive end/EDGE prospects for the 2024 class. Washington (D.C.) Friendship Academy five-star Dylan Stewart and Georgia Tech transfer Kyle Kennard will both go through spring practice with the team.
Shane Beamer’s program also returns seniors Elijah Davis and Terrell Dawkins, juniors Bryan Thomas Jr. and JT Geer, and sophomore Desmond Umeozulu at the EDGE position.
