South Carolina to host Florida offensive lineman for official visit
In February, South Carolina football extended a scholarship offer to Callahan (FL) West Nassau offensive lineman Clayton Lee. Now, the big blocker has set his official visit with the Gamecocks.
According to an announcement on Lee’s social media, he will be on campus at USC the weekend of June 12.
Earlier in the recruiting process, the home-state Florida Gators appeared to be the clear leaders for Lee. However, other teams have become more involved in recent months. Lee recently took unofficial visits to South Carolina, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest. He has another official visit set to UCF (May 29).
Last fall, Lee took in games at Florida, UCF, Syracuse, and NC State. He has 12 power conference offers to his name.

The Insiders Forum: Discuss South Carolina football!
Lee’s most recent trip to Columbia came on March 17. The big man said that he had a great time connecting with head coach Shane Beamer, offensive line coach Randy Clements, assistant offensive line coach Jason Smith, and offensive director of recruiting Sam Serbay.
At 6-7 and approaching 315 pounds, Lee is a mountain of a young man. On film, he uses that size and strength to be a road-grading run blocker for West Nassau. He also has the length (with a near 7-foot wingspan) and lower-body anchor potential to develop into a strong pass protector, too. Adding to his intrigue for South Carolina, Lee plays very hard.
Formerly a four-star recruit, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, Lee is the No. 849 overall player in the class of 2027. He is also the No. 64 offensive tackle recruit in the country. Lee ranks as the No. 96 player in the talent-rich state of Florida, regardless of position. He is now a three-star, per both Rivals and 247Sports.
