South Carolina football graduating senior running back Rahsul Faison has earned an invitation to the NFL Combine, his agency tells On3’s Pete Nakos.

Faison, who spent one year in garnet and black following multiple other stops, will participate in the Senior Bowl this winter, as well.

During the 2025 season, Faison started seven games for the Gamecocks. He finished the year with just under 600 yards from scrimmage, averaging 4.9 yards per rush and more than six yards per catch. He totaled 470 yards on the ground and three touchdowns with 19 receptions for 118 yards receiving.

Prior to his arrival in Columbia, Faison was an all-conference back at Utah State. His other stops included Marshall and Snow College. The veteran running back famously had to appeal for a seventh-year of eligibility. His clearance came through the week before South Carolina’s first game against Virginia Tech.

Faison, who measured in at USC at 6-0 and 218 pounds, is a patient back who demonstrated some solid tackle-breaking ability this season. Though he isn’t an all-out bruiser, Faison runs hard and keeps his legs churning for extra yardage.

Most NFL Draft projections have excluded Faison through this point in the offseason. Instead, he has been a popular name in undrafted free agent contract predictions. However, if he has a good showing at the Senior Bowl and/or at the combine, he could shift things for the better. Last year, USC linebacker Demetrius Knight pushed from a mid-round pick to the second round thanks to a strong winter.

This year’s NFL Combine will take place from February 23rd through March 2nd. As is typical, Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium will play host to the majority of the event. Much of the combine will be covered and broadcast on NFL Network and streamed on NFL.com.
