Four-star tight end Caden Ramsey signs with South Carolina
It’s National Signing Day in South Carolina, and signatures from prospects continue to roll in for Shane Beamer’s Gamecock football program.
The latest player to sign his paperwork is tight end Caden Ramsey, who hails from Cross High School in Cross, South Carolina. He played wide receiver, tight end, and free safety at the high school level but will be an athletic tight end for the Gamecocks.

At 6-5 and 210 pounds, Ramsey is rated by the Rivals Industry Ranking as a three-star prospect. He is ranked No. 986 nationally, No. 18 in South Carolina, and No. 66 among tight ends in the class of 2026.

However, Ramsey is a “Rivals outlier,” meaning that the Rivals player rankings are much higher on him. Though he is outside the Rivals300, he is a four-star prospect and the No. 19 tight end in the ’26 cycle.
