Former Gamecock Collin Murray-Boyles has been having a respectable rookie season with the NBA’s Toronto Raptors so far, and he’ll soon reap the rewards of that success.

The 6-foot-7 forward was selected to the NBA Rising Stars roster, the league announced on Monday night. He’s one of 10 rookies to make the cut and the lone representative from the Raptors on any of the three teams, which also includes the NBA sophomores and the NBA G League.

This event will take place during the NBA’s All-Star Weekend on Friday, Feb. 13, at 9 p.m. on Peacock. This mini-tournament, which will take place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, features four teams and three games spotlighting the league’s top rookies and second-year standouts.
