SMU Football 2025-26 Transfer Portal Tracker
SMU Football is hard at work on the transfer portal this offseason. The portal is open and entries are rolling in.
For the first time in the Transfer Portal Era, this year will feature just one transfer portal period in college football. The dates to enter this year’s transfer portal are Jan. 2-16, as opposed to the two portal periods in the winter and in the spring like in previous years.
One rule to keep an eye on that changed is graduate transfers were able to enter the portal whenever they wanted to enter all the way through the spring portal period. Now, grad transfers are only allowed to enter during the Jan. 2-16 window just like all other players.
