Purdue seizes first place with win at No. 6 Wisconsin
MADISON, Wis. — By virtue of a hard-fought 75-69 win at No 6 Wisconsin Sunday, Purdue sits alone in first place in the Big Ten.
The sixth-ranked Boilermakers led by as many as 10, then held on late to earn a massive road win. Purdue led by nine in the final 53 seconds before the Badgers’ last gasps trimmed the margin.

Lance Jones‘ off-balance three with nine-and-half minutes to play came right after Wisconsin had gotten with three and the Kohl Center came to life. He scored 20 points, while Braden Smith added 17 and Zach Edey 16.

Purdue led by as many as six in the first half, but missed its final four shots of the half and took just a 34-32 lead into the locker room.
