Penn State’s biggest addition in the transfer portal this offseason, former Iowa State quarterback Rocco Becht, won’t be featured for the Nittany Lions when they come together for spring practice in March. The veteran signal caller is coming off surgery to his non-throwing shoulder in December, and his absence will open the door for an inexperienced quarterback room to get the bulk of the action.
