QUACK: Oregon Lands Three-Star RB Da'Jaun Riggs
Carlos Locklyn has found his man in 2024. The Ducks have been in on a number of big running back names in the 2024 cycle. However coach Locklyn really focused on St. John’s (D.C.) running back Da’Jaun “Dink” Riggs early in the process.
The 6-foot, 200-pounder isn’t the national name like a few others. But the Ducks prioritized him early in the 2024 recruiting cycle. That led to his commitment to Oregon moments ago.

Riggs also took official visits to Pitt and Minnesota in the month of June.
Oregon is now up to 18 verbal commitments in the 2024 class. The Ducks’ class currently ranks as the No. 9 ranked recruiting class in the nation per On3.
On Saturday, Oregon also added a commitment from four-star offensive tackle Jac’Qawn McRoy.
Oregon could be in for more good news soon as top EDGE target Elijah Rushing is set to make his decision on July 6. The Ducks currently lead the On3 RPM with a 70.5% chance to land Rushing.
