Oregon could be in line to get some reinforcements at wide receiver on Saturday. Things are “Trending in the right direction” for Dakorien Moore and Gary Bryant Jr. according to On3’s Pete Nakos Saturday morning.

Nakos reports that both players will likely be game-time decisions against No. 12 James Madison in the first round of the College Football Playoff. They were each listed as questionable on Friday night’s availability report.

Moore was named was one of two Oregon players (Brandon Finney Jr.) to earn On3 True Freshman All-American honors. He missed all of November and hasn’t played since October 25 against Wisconsin.

He’s caught 28 passes for 443 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns in eight games. Head coach Dan Lanning said that the freshman phenom “tweaked his knee” in early November, but he remained optimistic about a return this season.

Bryant last played in Oregon’s 18-16 win over Iowa last month, but went down with an injury after catching one pass. He wouldn’t return in that game and missed the remainder of the month. He’s played in nine games for Oregon and has 25 catches for 299 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

Staying with the pass catchers, Oregon wide receiver Evan Stewart was downgraded from questionable to doubtful on Friday’s availability report. He hasn’t played all year after suffering a torn patellar tendon in June.

Malik Benson and Jeremiah McClellan both stepped up and delivered as the receiver room navigated key injuries in November.
