Oregon Recruiting: Ducks Leap Into Top Ten
As we inch dangerously close to kickoff in Seattle, Dan Lanning started the scoring early. Only it was on the recruiting trail.
The Ducks just landed its top-ranked commit in the 2024 recruiting cycle. Five-Star defensive lineman Aydin Breland is the latest addition to the Ducks. The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder is the No. 38 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. He is the No. 7 ranked defensive lineman in the country.

Oregon now sits at 24 verbal commits in the 2024 class. And that has launched the Ducks into the top ten, now at No. 7 nationally in the On3 Recruiting Rankings. Oregon now has the No. 2 ranked recruiting class in the Big Ten, with only Ohio State ahead of the Ducks.

The next closest current Pac-12 program is USC at No. 18 in those rankings. Oregon’s opponent this week, Washington, is currently ranked No. 38 nationally.
