Oregon lands commitment from former Colorado guard Keeshawn Barthelemy
Dana Altman added a major piece to the Oregon men’s basketball program on Monday.
Keeshawn Barthelemy, a 6-foot-2 guard who served as Colorado’s starting point guard last season, announced Monday that he has committed to Oregon.
During a breakout sophomore season, Barthelemy averaged 11.1 points on 42 percent shooting and 2.4 assists per game for the Buffs in 2021-22. A former 4-star signee out of Montreal, Que., he entered the transfer portal this offseason and immediately became one of the more sought-after players on the market.

For the Ducks, he figures to provide a much-needed presence in the backcourt. Oregon guard De’Vion Harmon has already confirmed that he will return to Eugene next season, and Rivaldo Soares also figures to be back. But the Ducks are still waiting on a decision from starting point guard and leading scorer Will Richardson.
They are also set to bring in 5-star signee Dior Johnson as well as JUCO standouts Tyrone Williams and Brenan Rigsby with next year’s class.
