Four-Star LB Mason Posa Names Final Three
One of the top linebackers out West has trimmed his list. And a healthy trim it was with only three schools left standing.
La Cueva (N.M.) linebacker Mason Posa announced a final three of Oregon, Wisconsin and Texas A&M Wednesday evening. The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder is the No. 275 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. He is the No. 29 ranked linebacker nationally.

Posa is expected to visit Wisconsin this weekend for his first official visit. The Badgers currently are the favorite of the three schools according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
He will visit Oregon the next weekend on June 7 for his second official visit.
The four-star recently spoke with our own Max Torres on Oregon.
“I think the coaches for sure really stand out,” Posa said. “Especially Coach Lanning coming out to Albuquerque. That was really big to me. It made me feel like they really want me because he’s the only head coach to come down to Albuquerque. I know Oregon recruits top guys and I feel like Coach Lanning coming down makes me feel like I’m one of their biggest priorities.”
Posa has already visited Oregon unofficially in March.
