Four-Star EDGE Blake Purchase Commits to Oregon
It’s been a rough few days for Duck fans. However there is good news on the recruiting trail at least.
The Ducks landed a key defensive commitment on Tuesday. Cherry Creek (Colo.) EDGE Blake Purchase announced his commitment moments ago. The 6-foot-3, 240-pounder committed to Oregon over Iowa State, Notre Dame, Washington and others.

Purchase rounds out what has turned into a very strong defensive line haul for the Ducks in the last two months. He is the No. 297 ranked player in the On3 Consensus Rankings.
Oregon is now up to 18 commits in the 2023 recruiting class. And the seventh commit with the ability to play on the defensive line. That’s a massive piece to this recruiting class for Dan Lanning.
