EUGENE, Ore. — Defensive end Brandon Dorlus has been named the Pac-12 co-defensive lineman of the week for his performance in Oregon’s win over BYU, the conference office announced on Monday.
Dorlus led the Ducks with a career-high seven tackles in Oregon’s dominant 41-20 win over then-No. 12 BYU, and added 1.5 tackles for loss and half a sack. Dorlus is sharing the award this week with Arizona’s Hunter Echols.

This is the first time Dorlus has won the honor, and he is first Duck this season to receive a Pac-12 weekly award. Oregon won the defensive lineman of the week honor three times in 2021, with Kayvon Thibodeaux taking it home twice and Bradyn Swinson winning it once.
Dorlus and the No. 15 Ducks (2-1) will open Pac-12 play this Saturday, Sept. 24, against Washington State (3-0) in Pullman at 1 P.M. PT on FOX.
