Former Ole Miss and NFL offensive lineman turned Associate-Director of Former Student Athletes Javon Patterson hasn’t had much time to himself. The former Rebel has been busy as anyone coordinating fundraising efforts, former players coming back to Oxford and more.
But, he was kind enough to carve out some time to join this episode of Talk of Champions Short Sessions. On this edition, we talk with Patterson about the latest projects going on at Ole Miss, former athlete reunions and more.

Javon Patterson joined the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation in 2022.
Patterson’s responsibilities includes bridging the gap between current and former student athletes with the addition of major gifts to the Vaught Society.
Prior to returning to his alma mater, Patterson spent three years in the National Football League. He played with the Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos. In 2018, Patterson graduated from Ole Miss with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing. During his time as a student, Patterson interned as a Data Analyst at ProMatura LLC. He was also heavily involved with his engagement with the Oxford community.
