OU quarterback John Mateer says he's spent offseason working on mechanics, watching film

John Mateer had an easy decision to make following the 2025 season. While some speculated the OU starting quarterback might leave for the NFL after one season in Norman, he said it was a no-brainer to return to Oklahoma. He knows he has to get a lot better, especially after an up-and-down first year with the Sooners.
