BREAKING: Highly sought-after defensive lineman Cameron Brickle commits to Ohio State
COLUMBUS — Ohio State defensive line coach Larry Johnson remains hot the recruiting trail. He has landed his third commitment in the 2026 class.
Three-star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy defensive lineman Cameron Brickle has committed to Ohio State. The 6-foot-2, 300-pound Brickle chose the Buckeyes over scholarship offers from Florida State, Maryland and Penn State.
Brickle ranks as the No. 494 overall prospect and No. 54 defensive lineman in the 2026 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. On3 ranks him as the No. 75 defensive lineman this cycle
Brickle is the 19th commitment for Ohio State in the 2026 class. He joins four-star Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra defensive lineman Khary Wilder and four-star Egg Harbor Township (N.J.) St. Augustine Prep defensive lineman Damari Simeon in the Buckeyes defensive line class. Wilder is viewed as a defensive end, however.
Four-star Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban offensive lineman Sam Greer, four-star Avon Lake (Ohio) interior offensive lineman Max Riley, three-star Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe offensive tackle Aaron Thomas and three-star Phoenix (Ariz.) Sandra Day O’Conner offensive lineman Tucker Smith are committed along the offensive line.
Ohio State also has a talented four-man wide receiver class. Five-star Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. is the headliner. The Buckeyes also have Four-star Inglewood (Calif) Mater Dei wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, four-star Pataskala (Ohio) Watkins Memorial wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts and four-star Southlake Carroll (Texas) wide receiver Brock Boyd in the class.

Three-star Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School tight end Corbyn Fordham rounds out the offensive class for the Buckeyes.
Defensively, Ohio State has four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville linebacker Cincere Johnson and four-star Lewis Center (Ohio) Olentangy linebacker CJ Sanna committed on the second-level. Four-star Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic safety Blaine Bradford, four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School safety Simeon Caldwell, four-star Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic athlete Jordan Thomas and four-star Avon (Ohio) cornerback Jakob Weatherspoon make up the secondary class for the Buckeyes.
