UNC Reels in Former Oregon Commit Viliami Moala
North Carolina has made a massive addition to its 2026 class: Viliami Moala, a 6-foot-2, 340-pound, high-three-star defensive lineman, announced his commitment to North Carolina on Friday.
Less than a month ago, Moala, who recently transferred to Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson High, ended his lengthy commitment to Oregon. He originally committed to Southern Cal in September and then flipped to the Ducks a month later.
In June, Moala took official visits to UNC and Oregon.
Moala spent his junior season at South Jordan (Utah) Bingham High, where he tallied 99 tackles, 22 TFLs, 12.5 sacks, 35 QB hurries, and a pair of pass breakups.
