Why NC State wrestling hired Hayden Hidlay as an assistant coach: ‘It was a no-brainer’

When NC State assistant wrestling coach Kevin Jack accepted the job to start a program at Bradenton (Fla.) in December, the wheels started turning inside Pat Popolizio’s head of who to replace him on staff with.  It didn’t take long for him to come up with his top target: Former five-time All-American and four-time ACC Champion Hayden Hidlay.
