Mississippi State freshman wing Adrian Myers entering the transfer portal
The past few days have been fairly active for Mississippi State’s offseason and ever-changing roster with expected attrition. That process continued on Saturday with another Bulldog entering the transfer portal.
Per sources to Maroon and White Daily, Mississippi State redshirt freshman wing Adrian Myers is entering the transfer portal. The 6-foot-6 and 210-pound Myers becomes the third Mississippi State player to enter the portal this week, joining junior point guard Kanye Clary and sophomore center Michael Nwoko.
Myers, a Virginia native, was part of Mississippi State’s Class of 2023 and is a former On3 three-star prospect. Myers did not see any game action this past season and redshirted in his second season on campus.

As a true freshman in the 2023-24 campaign, Myers saw action in 10 games and averaged 3.4 minutes a game. In that season, Myers totaled 10 points, five rebounds, two steals and seven turnovers. Offensively, Myers made 4 of 11 from the field and made 2 of 9 from the 3 point arc.
The transfer portal for college basketball officially opened this past Monday and is set to close on April 22nd.
