LSU NFL Draft Tracker: A.J. Haulcy, Zavion Thomas go in Round 3
On Thursday, LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs as the No. 6 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Delane became the fourth LSU cornerback in program history to be selected in the Top 10 of the NFL Draft, and as expected, the All-American for the Tigers was the first cornerback off the board.
In Friday’s Round 2, no former LSU players were selected.
Then multiple dominos dropped in Round 3 as two more Tigers came off the board.
First, safety A.J. Haulcy to the Indianapolis Colts with the No. 78 overall pick. Then, wide receiver Zavion Thomas to the Chicago Bears with the No. 89 overall pick.
Friday’s second and third rounds covered picks No. 33 to No. 100.

Zavion Thomas drafted by the Bears

The Bears picked the Louisiana native in Round 3 with the No. 89 overall pick of the 2026 NFL Draft. Thomas, who began his college career at Mississippi State before transferring to LSU, is also one of the best return specialists in the SEC.
LSU DBs go 1-2 with Haulcy to Colts
