Six more assists for Maddyn Greenway as USA beats Israel 114-40 in FIBA U19 World Cup
USA is 3-0 in the FIBA U19 World Cup after beating Israel 114-40 on Tuesday. They beat Korea on Saturday by 81, then followed that up with a 30-point dub over Hungary on Sunday. While Maddyn Greenway‘s scoring productivity has been off and on throughout the event, she’s still made her presence felt by setting up her teammates and creating havoc on the defensive side of the ball.
Like they did against Korea, things got out of reach very quickly. After just one quarter of play, USA had a 37-13 lead over Israel, and it was over from there. USA shot much better than they did on Sunday, hitting 46 of their 77 shot attempts (59.7%).
Against Israel, the 2026 five-star Kentucky commit had just four points in 17 minutes of play, but she did also put up six assists, three steals and three rebounds along the way. Her six assists were second-best on the team, only behind Jazzy Davidson who had eight.
Davidson and the top prospect in Rivals’ 2026 recruiting rankings, Saniyah Hall, each reached the 20-point mark, shooting a blistering 18/23 (78.2%) from the field.
