MAD LIBS: John Calipari and Chris Paul caught up at Walmart's annual shareholders meeting
Walmart’s Shareholders Week drew quite the crowd of celebrities for its finale on Friday morning.
Among the big names in attendance at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas, were a couple of basketball’s most popular figures: Former Kentucky/current Arkansas men’s basketball head coach John Calipari and future Hall of Fame point guard Chris Paul. Not even Mad Libs could put together such an interesting scenario…
“With Chris and CJ Paul at the Walmart annual shareholders meeting,” Calipari wrote on social media. “They unveiled a new product today. GOOD EAT’N snacks gonna be big!”
Good Eat’n is a plant-based snack brand founded by Paul, which Calipari is seemingly endorsing. You can get some yourself if you want to spend $59 on a dozen six-ounce bags of nacho cheese tortilla chips.

According to 5NEWS, more than 13,000 Walmart associates and shareholders from all over the world made the trip to BWA to talk about groceries. That number of people (invite-only, mind you) is crazy to think about. But not as crazy once you learn it wasn’t just basketball royalty walking around — celebrities such as Jimmy Fallon, Walton Goggins, The Killers, Post Malone, Noah Kahan, and Camila Cabello were all in attendance. Cabello even performed on stage in front of the massive audience.
Why is Walmart’s stockholders meeting such an over-the-top production? Well, why not? During the meeting, Walmart executives stated that the company saw a revenue increase to $681 billion during the 2025 fiscal year. Might as well spend that money on something, right?
