Kentucky Expected to Be Involved with Liberty Guard Brett Decker
Kentucky’s list of portal targets is continuing to expand. Liberty guard Brett Decker is a player Kentucky is expected to be involved with when the portal opens on April 7, sources tell KSR.
Decker, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound sophomore guard, is originally from Elizabethtown, KY, and attended Central Hardin High School. He was unranked coming out of high school, committing to Liberty in the 2024 class. During the 2024-25 season, Decker averaged 4.3 points on 46.1 percent from the field in just 6.8 minutes per game.
His sophomore year was his breakthrough, averaging 16.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.4 steals in 33.6 minutes per game. He shot 49.9 percent from the field and 47.1 percent from three-point range on 4.5 three-point attempts per game during the 2025-26 season. He earned 2025-26 All-CUSA honors.
