Corbin ATH Treyveon Longmire Reopens Recruitment
A Kentucky commit is back on the market. Corbin athlete Treyveon Longmire announced Friday morning that he is reopening his recruitment.
Longmire, a four-star prospect according to On3, announced his commitment to Kentucky at a live KSR show this spring at Corbin Arena. A defensive back and wide receiver, this season he helped the Redhounds start 12-0 before falling to Johnson Central in the 4A playoffs.

What’s Next for Longmire, UK
The news of Longmire’s departure does not sting. Both parties mutually agreed to go their separate ways. The Corbin kid should land on his feet, potentially playing for a CFB Playoff team, Cincinnati. 247’s Derek Terry reports an official visit to Cincinnati could happen next week. Mississippi State and West Virginia are also options for Longmire.
From Kentucky’s perspective, some attrition in the class was expected as signing day draws near. It’s inevitable. Now down to 17 committed players in the class of 2022, the Wildcats have a little more wiggle room as they prepare to host official visitors and close up the class.
Best of luck to Longmire.
