The Southeastern Conference recognized a couple of Wildcats on Tuesday.

Kentucky women’s basketball players Clara Strack and Tonie Morgan both picked up postseason awards from the SEC. Strack was tabbed to the First Team while Morgan was named to the Second Team. Strack also found herself on the All-Defensive Team.

Strack, a 6-foot-5 junior center, paced Kentucky (21-9; 8-8 SEC) this season with per-game averages of 16.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks on 47.5 percent shooting. The Buffalo native couldn’t repeat as the SEC Defensive Player of the Year, but she did move from Second Team All-SEC in 2024-25 to First Team All-SEC in 2025-26. Strack was also listed as a Second Team All-SEC member by USA Today on Tuesday, the only Wildcat to make the cut.

As for Morgan, a senior point guard transfer from Georgia Tech, she posted per-game averages of 13.9 points and a league-leading 8.2 assists, also on 47.5 percent shooting. The Florida native was named All-ACC during her last two seasons with the Yellow Jackets before making the move to the SEC.

The All-SEC Teams do not use a traditional five-person roster, meaning the First Team and Second Team both consist of 10 players each for 20 total honorees. However, the All-Defensive Team is limited to just five players. Strack was beaten out for her second straight SEC DPOY award by South Carolina’s Raven Johnson. Also of note, LSU rookie Za’Kiyah Johnson, who broke endless records and won multiple state championships for Sacred Heart Academy in Louisville, was named to the All-Freshman Team.

You can view all of the postseason awards below. Kentucky will begin its run in the SEC Tournament on Wednesday as the nine-seed. The Wildcats will face 16th-seeded Arkansas (12-19, 1-15 SEC) in Greenville, SC, on Wednesday, March 4, at 11:00 a.m. ET on the SEC Network.
