BBNFL Week 15: Wan'Dale Robinson catches 4th TD of the season
When Wan’Dale Robinson was a rookie, he caught one touchdown pass. In his second year, he made it to the endzone two times. In this third year, he found paydirt three times. So, it is only fitting that in his fourth NFL season, Robinson would score four touchdowns. Just wait until year 20.
Then again, Robinson could completely buck this progression by scoring more touchdowns in the upcoming weeks, but as for now, the former Wildcat sits at four TDs in the 2025 season. The latest score came via an impressive 27-yard catch at the goalline on a ball underthrown by Jaxson Dart under pressure.
Robinson, who has been the Giants’ No. 1 receiving option after Malik Nabers went down with an ACL tear, leads New York in receiving yards with 638 and total catches with 57.
The game itself wasn’t nearly as exciting. The lowly Commanders defeated the lowlier Giants 29-21, moving their record to 2-11 and keeping the G-Men in line for the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
At least Wan’Dale Robinson is good.
Ray Davis leads the NFL in kickoff return yards
Ray Davis only saw six offensive snaps, where he caught one pass for 13 yards. However, he had another big kickoff return that sparked the Bills’ comeback victory over the Patriots. Davis nearly had his second-career return for a touchdown coming out of the half before getting dragged down after 58 yards.
After the game, Josh Allen praised Davis for getting the Bills rolling, who were down 21-0 before coming back and winning 35-31. “Coming into the second half, it may have been that Ray Davis return [that helped the most]. It put us in good field position, gave us confidence to just go play football…he did a great job; he’s done a great job all season.”

Done a great job is an understatement. Davis leads the NFL in kick return yards, clocking in at 32.4 yards per attempt, which is also a franchise record. With the new kickoff rules, returns are back to being an important part of the game, and Ray Davis has seized the opportunity and perfected his new craft.
Not surprising, but awesome, nonetheless.
Other BBNFL Notes
Chris Rodriguez Jr. missed the aforementioned game against the Giants with a groin injury. C-Rod was questionable going into Week 14 and went through pre-game warmups to see how he felt, but ultimately, the team made him inactive. Tough break for the guy who willed his way into a starting role this season. Hopefully, he will return next week against the Eagles.
Josh Hines-Allen added four more quarterback pressures to this total, tying him for third in the NFL this season. He and former Kentucky OC, Liam Coen, have the likely-playoff-bound Jaguars at 11-4 on the year.
Brenden Bates was active for the Cleveland Browns for the first time since Week 12, though he did not receive a target at tight end. It is great to see Bates clinging to a roster spot, even if it is for the dreadful Browns.
