Hawkeyes discuss loss to Purdue

The Iowa players who have been with Ben McCollum for several years, like Bennett Stritz, haven’t experienced much losing in their careers. They certainly haven’t experienced many blowout losses. Stirtz and Cam Manyawu experienced that on Saturday as Purdue came to Iowa City and dominated the Hawkeyes from the start, 78-57.

Following the loss. Stirtz and Manyawu met with the media to discuss what happened in the defeat. Why the offense and defense have struggled in recent weeks, and what the Iowa team needs to do when the ball is in the paint on offense and why they have struggled in that area.
