DE Jaemin Pinckney flips to Florida State on Signing Day
The Florida State football staff has flipped another edge rusher for its 2026 signing class. Jaemin Pinckney, a three-star prospect who was committed to USF, has flipped to the Seminoles.
According to the Rivals Industry Ranking, the Dorchester, S.C., product is the No. 538 prospect in the country, the No. 55 Edge rusher and the 10th-best player in the Palmetto State.
Florida State got into the Pinckney sweepstakes months ago and had him on campus for the Miami game. FSU offered him during that visit, and it was thought he would return for an official visit, but he opted to stick with the Bulls.
With USF head coach Alex Golesh taking the Auburn job, Florida State put the push back on for Pinckney as signing day approached, and the Seminoles eventually won out.

The 6-foot, 5-inch pass-rusher had a great senior campaign, earning offers from Florida State, West Virginia and others.
Pinckney becomes the fourth Edge rusher in this class, along with Jalen Anderson, Chris Carbin and Damaad Lewis. Those three committed to Florida State in the last month.
