Chimere Dike’s historic rookie season earns Pro Bowl starting nod
Former Florida Gators wide receiver Chimere Dike has been named a starter for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games, becoming one of the NFL’s top breakout rookies in his first season with the Tennessee Titans.
The league announced Pro Bowl rosters on Tuesday and Dike earned his spot through a combination of fan, player and coach voting. He finished first among AFC returners in fan voting, a strong sign of his impact and national recognition.
Dike is just the sixth rookie in Titans franchise history to earn a Pro Bowl nod and the first since 2010. His selection caps off a historic rookie season built on explosive production as both a returner and offensive weapon.
The former Gator became only the fourth rookie in NFL history to record at least four receiving touchdowns and two punt return touchdowns in the same season. The others on that list are Tyreek Hill, Dez Bryant and Eddie Kennison.
Chimere Dike leads the NFL in multiple stats
Dike leads the NFL in all-purpose yards (2,269) and kickoff return yards (1,535). He also ranks among the league leaders in punt return production, averaging 18.2 yards per punt return while scoring twice. His kickoff return yardage set a single-season franchise record, breaking a mark that stood since 2010.
With at least six total touchdowns this season, Dike joins A.J. Brown, Chris Johnson and Vince Young as the only Titans rookies since 1999 to reach that milestone.
