WR signee Camden Brown looking forward to future with Bryan Harsin, Auburn
Auburn wide receiver signee Camden Brown didn’t think Bryan Harsin would take time to talk to him last week in the midst of an “evaluation” by the university.
Brown was wrong.
Brown, who signed with Auburn in December out of St. Thomas Aquinas (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.), spoke with Harsin during an investigation into “concerns raised regarding (Auburn’s) football program.”
“It meant a lot to me,” Brown said. “I was checking on him, seeing how he was doing with all the things going on in life. He told me he wasn’t going anywhere and that everything is just rumors. I know his phone was on fire left and right. For him to make time for me really meant a lot to me.”
Harsin was right.
The investigation officially ended Friday after president Jay Gogue released a statement claiming Harsin “remains our head football coach.”

“I was like, ‘Thank you!,'” Brown said. “Coach Harsin has a plan and you have to believe in that plan, and that’s why I came to Auburn. I trust his plan.”
Brown is on schedule to graduate from high school in May and report to Auburn soon after.
“I’ll report to Auburn in late May,” Brown said. “I’m not sure of the exact date, but I’m looking forward to it. I can’t wait.”
