Tigers offer UCF cornerback commit in Florida
A new cornerback target has emerged for the Auburn Tigers. And he currently is committed to a former Auburn coach.
That player is Braeden Marshall.
He’s a 3-star cornerback from Lake Mary (Fla.), a school located in the Orlando area of central Florida. Auburn offered him a scholarship on Friday, the same day multiple coaches visited his school. We can confirm new secondary coach Wesley McGriff was one of them.
Marshall, the No. 50 cornerback in the country for the On3 Consensus, is a UCF commit. He gave his verbal to Gus Malzahn’s program in July. But now Auburn has joined the hunt and has the potential to be a major player in Marshall’s recruitment.

According to our intel, it’s very possible — even likely — Marshall will visit the Tigers before National Signing Day, which is Dec. 21.
Marshall is listed at 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds. As a senior, he recorded 48 tackles, 24 solo stops and 7 pass break-ups. His team went 8-4.
Auburn has a major need at defensive back, particularly corner, in this recruiting cycle.
