COMMITMENT: 4-star LB Adam Balogoun-Ali commits to Auburn
Four-star linebacker Adam Balogoun-Ali has committed to Auburn.
Balogoun-Ali, who attends Cardinal Newman High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., announced his decision Tuesday on social media.
He chose Auburn over his other finalists, Kentucky and Missouri.
“Auburn is home,” he said.
Auburn defensive coordinator DJ Durkin played a major role in Balogoun-Ali’s decision.
“Coach Durkin is great,” Balogoun-Ali said. “He is a genuine dude, and someone I listen to and believe in. We have gone over the scheme and it is exactly what I like to do with coverage and blitzing. When I talked to the players on the official visit about the scheme, everything matched up with what coach Durkin has told me too, so it all sounded great.”

Balogoun-Ali said he sees himself playing the dime linebacker position at Auburn.
“I think (the scheme is) very linebacker friendly,” he said. “I could definitely see myself playing in something like that. I would play … they call it ‘dime.’ They do a whole lot of things. They play man, blitz … all that stuff. I think I would play the dime position.”
Balogoun-Ali is the eight commitment in Auburn’s 2026 class. Rivals ranks him a four-star recruit and the No. 29 linebacker in the country.
