Top 10 2026 recruit Kynzee Anderson commits to Georgia
The first week of recruitment for the 2026 class is off and running. Georgia landed the first recruit from the 2026 Softball America Top 10 recruiting rankings. Right-handed pitcher Kynzee Anderson from Calvary Baptist Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana. Anderson is the fifth-best pitcher of the class and 10th overall in her class.
“There’s nothing not to love about Georgia,” Anderson said. “The family environment that the coaches and players have created while still competing at the highest level is something I knew I had to be a part of! It truly felt like home and I can’t wait! GO DAWGS!”

Anderson plays with the D1VISION travel ball group based out of Louisiana founded by former LSU outfielder Tammy Vermeulen. The future Georgia Bulldog consistently sits around 68 mph with an excellent spin on her rise ball. Anderson is also known for coming through in high-pressure situations.
Anderson is the second player from the Top 100 of the 2026 rankings to pledge to Georgia. Luna Taboas, a middle infielder from Orlando, is the 42nd-ranked recruit in our rankings. Taboas is a product of Montverde Academy and Mojo Fisher/Ramsey organization.
