Ole Miss pitcher Miali Guachino enters transfer portal
Ole Miss pitcher Miali Guachino has entered the transfer portal after one season with the Rebels. The four-star recruit from Pala, Calif. threw a team-high 147 innings this past season.
Guachino was named to the NFCA Freshman of the Year Top 25 list. She finished the season with a 3.43 ERA and a 16-11 record as well as four saves. She struck out 172 batters compared to 81 walks. Guachino also set the program’s single-game strikeout record with 19 Ks against Southern Miss back in February.

The Rebels now don’t return any innings with the departure of Guachino and the graduations of Bri Lopez, Aliyah Binford and Alison Cooper.
