Two West Virginia signees among final 2026 Rivals300
West Virginia has a pair of signees listed in the final 2026 Rivals300 in Harrisburg (Pa.) offensive lineman Kevin Brown and Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek running back Amari Latimer.
Brown, 6-foot-5, 280-pounds, is rated as the No. 49 prospect nationally according to Rivals and signed with the Mountaineers in December over a number of high level offers.
The long-time Penn State commitment opened his recruiting process and the Mountaineers became an immediate factor along with Ohio State but West Virginia was able to win his pledge.
The son of former West Virginia offensive lineman Tim, Brown enrolled at West Virginia in January and was recently named a Weight Room Warrior of the Week.
Latimer, 6-foot-0, 200-pounds, is slotted as the No. 220 prospect nationally and like Brown also is already enrolled at West Virginia. He flipped his pledge to the Mountaineers on the first day of the early signing period after being previously committed to Wisconsin.
Latimer had a prolific senior season where he rushed for 2,409 yards and 44 touchdowns on 250 carries.
The Mountaineers 2026 recruiting class is rated as the No. 21 nationally in the 2026 cycle and is second in the Big 12 behind only Texas Tech.
