Stephen F. Austin transfer safety Kameron Reddic commits to West Virginia
West Virginia has added a key commitment at a position of need out of the transfer portal with a pledge from Stephen F. Austin safety transfer Kameron Reddic.
“The coaches, the culture that stood out, and the great energy,” he said about the reasons he chose West Virginia.
Reddic, 6-foot-0, 185-pounds, appeared in 21 games during his time with Lumberjacks where he recorded 51 tackles, 5 passes defended, 2 tackles for loss and an interception. This past season Reddic appeared in all 14 games with 42 tackles and 5 passes defended.
Reddic started 13 games in 2025 and played a total of 541 defensive snaps.
The safety appeared in 623 total defensive snaps across his two seasons.
The Houston native entered the transfer portal Jan. 17 and took an official visit to Morgantown where the Mountaineers were able to secure his commitment.
I’m going to bring physicality and leadership to lead this team to a championship,” he said.
Reddic has two years of eligibility remaining in his college career.
WVSports.com will have more with Reddic in the near future.
