Six West Virginia signees recognized as NJCAA all-Americans
West Virginia had several of their junior college signees recognized on the 2025 NJCAA DI Football all-American teams.
On the first team defense, Hutchinson C.C. defensive end Darius Wiley was selected after a standout season where he was named All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He recorded 49 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks.
Wiley is set to enroll at West Virginia in January and has three years remaining.
Copiah-Lincoln C.C. running back Martavious Boswell was selected for the second-team on the offensive side of the ball after being named Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) South Offensive Player of the Year.
Boswell, who also will be enrolling in January with two years remaining, rushed for 1,109 yards and 13 touchdowns on just 130 carries this past year.
Four more players were named to the honorable mention team with Northwest Mississippi C.C. wide receiver Keon Hutchins, Northwest Mississippi C.C. defensive lineman Jaylen Thomas, Hutchinson C.C. defensive lineman KJ Henson and Hutchinson C.C. cornerback Da’Mun Allen.
Each of those players also are set to enroll in January with two years remaining.
Hutchins, 6-foot-0, 180-pounds, was an all-region selection with 34 catches for 635 yards and six touchdowns this past season for Northwest.
Thomas, 6-foot-2, 313-pounds, was the 2025 Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) North Division Defensive Player of the Year and was a commanding interior presence with 18 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss.
Henson, 6-foot-4, 275-pounds, was a All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference First Team selection at defensive tackle with 41 tackles and 5.5 sacks.
Finally, Allen, 6-foot-3, 190-pounds, was highly productive as well with 25 tackles and 4 picks.
